Soft Washing
Soft washing is a low-pressure method used to clean surfaces such as roofs, siding, decks, and fences. It involves the application of specialized cleaning solutions or detergents, which are sprayed onto the surface using a low-pressure nozzle. Unlike pressure washing, which uses high-pressure water to forcefully remove dirt and grime, soft washing relies on the chemical action of the cleaning solutions to break down and remove contaminants gently.
Soft washing is particularly effective for cleaning delicate surfaces or materials that may be damaged by high-pressure water, such as painted surfaces, stucco, wood, and certain types of roofing materials. It is commonly used to remove mold, mildew, algae, moss, and other organic stains from exterior surfaces, leaving them clean and restored without causing damage.
Soft washing is often preferred for residential cleaning projects because it is safer, more gentle, and less likely to cause damage to the surfaces being cleaned compared to traditional pressure washing. Additionally, the use of specialized cleaning solutions in soft washing can provide longer-lasting results by inhibiting the regrowth of mold and algae after cleaning.
